Halim Al Karim (b. 1963) is an Iraqi artist born in Najaf, Iraq, and raised primarily in Baghdad. He is best known for his strategically blurred and altered photographs, merging stills from films, artifacts, photos, and paintings. His work is a part of collections including the Saatchi Gallery in London, Zentrum Paul Klee in Switzerland, and the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo.
